Bundesliga players vote for the league’s best performers

As is standard this season, kicker approached 239 Bundesliga players for their interpretation of the period up until this point.

The German football magazine survey players twice per season – at the midway stage and at its decision – to perceive how things have unfurled from the players’ points of view.

This winter has seen them ask 239 Bundesliga stars an entire host of inquiries, and they returned with a conclusive answer on the best player.

1   Robert Lewandowski – 44.7% of the vote
2   Timo Werner – 14.6%
3   Jadon Sancho – 6.7%
4   Marcus Thuram – 5.4%
5   Serge Gnabry – 3.8%
6   Other – 19.3%
7   No response – 2.5%

The finish of last season had seen Kai Havertz casted a ballot the class’ best outfield player, while Marco Reus was chosen this time a year ago.

Be that as it may, with 19 objectives from 17 Bundesliga appearances so far this season, Lewandowski was continually going to bring home the honor this time around.

In the interim, Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Yann Sommer was chosen as the group’s best goalkeeper with 38.9% of the vote.
